Brief Description: Flight #9, Flt test #6, Airspeed accuracy, 1:12
The plan was to climb to 3000' and run box lines at constant airspeed and altitude with power setting of 2800, 3000, 3200 and 3400 rpm. With the IAS and GPS data I should be able to calculate the airspeed indicator error.
Ran the lines and collected data, but some was the wrong data, so I'll need to repeat the test. I need to log IAS, GPS ground speed and GPS track, pressure altitude and OAT.
Runs were made at about 4000' DA. Used about 5 gallons of fuel for the 1.2 tach hours. TGW 863#
